I have no idea what this is from. But great work. Some place I'd love to wander around. Very engaging.

Ah. I'd try it, but I've purged Windows from my life. I actually found you on a BSD forum. That's my next (planned) OS. Currently on Linux.

Icewind Dale should work on WINE, and for sure will work ideally on VirtualBox.

Good luck with BSDs, if you would have some problems with them, then let me know.

But I have good news for you, a lot of great documentation is ready to read, I can even send you some FreeBSD books in PDFs.

Thanks very much. Thus far the BSD people I've talked to have been really great. There's been a lot of pressing things happening as of late, so I've pushed back the installation a bit. But soon I hope! And I'm actually thinking of starting with NetBSD. A large part of my interest in switching is security and NetBSD seems to be a bit more secure than FreeBSD without taking on the bad performance of OpenBSD.

You are welcome mate.

I cannot verify the security of these BSD, but if you find some docs about it, then let me know.

For sure NetBSD's attitude is "more secure way" here, since they keep everything as minimal as possible and that is good start for good security, I have also heard that NetBSD people did some audit on their code for 5.0 release.

NetBSD scales beatifully now, as FreeBSD, only OpenBSD works well now only on single core.

Loved when I came there with my party of adventures and when the beautiful music started to play, and it was just so cool!
